Honestly, I thank my 8th Grade English class for giving me the inspiration to this series! :D
If it wasn't for that short story unit, I don't think I would've gotten the idea at all!
"The Broken Ones" is the second book series I plan on writing. The series goes up to either 4 or 5 books. I hope to achieve up to 5, because to me writing that long a series will be a milestone in my writing journey. So far, I have a thought out plot for both the series itself and, "Tear me apart", in which is the first book and the only one I outlined. Though it does remind me a bit of my other book "Let me Go" since it has similar content.
The other books will be updated eventually in the future ^_^
Series Summary-
The Ruler of the Underearth. . .
he broke the rules and had 8 children.
The other two are dead and only six are alive.
One child is Broken
One child is Protecting
Another is Reserved
One is full of Joy
The other is Religious
The last is Cruel.
Each child suffers from a curse,
a power that is meant to destroy them.
But it doesn't. . . at least not yet.
two of them aren't meant to be alive, they're supposed to be gone.
But they're not.
All of them, it doesn't matter how, they have to give away their power,
and the other two children-they have to sacrifice themselves.
It doesn't matter the consequence, or what they leave behind
and it doesn't matter how they do it.
If they fail, it'll all mean nothing.
