To begin with, this description is going to a be a little different than my other books. Chilly In Winter, is the first book I've ever written, or at least tried to write.

The story is about a girl by the name of Brea, who has a strong passion for figure skating. All she wants to do is skate, to her, it's her life. Unfortunately, she suffers through many obstacles to try and accomplish her goal to stand out for her powerful skills on the ice, especially in her school since it's well known for it's strong skating programs and competitions. 

 

I first wrote it in 6th grade and I've been working on the project throughout my whole 6th grade year. I have written multiple drafts for it and was constantly starting over because I never thought it was good enough. Being a more experienced writer, I hope to rewrite this novel again someday, perhaps even change the plot a bit, and make it better. Because of self-degradation back then, I never considered going back to this novel, but I realized eventually that it's been the starting point to my writing journey and will always be a part of me.
