Let Me Go
"Let Me Go" is a story I wrote for a WattPad October/Thriller Challenge.
My inspiration was Sleep Paralysis. I don't know why or what I was thinking but I was watching videos about it and the idea ended up popping into my head. I was unable to finish it before the Due date but I did complete it eventually. I consider this to be my first Paranormal novel, and to my surprise, it was actually pretty fun to write. :)
"Why couldn't I be the daughter
of an-angel"
~Lilith Slater
Ever since the loss of her parents weeks after birth, demons, night terrors and monstrous apparitions is all Lilith has ever seen, her nightmares and frightful hallucinations flaring the moment sleep engulfs her into its ocean of drowsiness. Every minute when she thinks that her nightmares are the worst she's ever experienced, another night in her bed excels at proving her wrong. Voices, taunts, and scars are what would pummel Lilith until her mind shuts off on her, turning Lilith into a darkness that would conjure up a part of her that wouldn't fail to place a smile on Lucifer's face. If only this infliction was the least of her problems.
It's on the day that her friends Kiora, Larcelle, and Suada, drag her into a threatening adventure to wander into a ghostly home that things take a turn for the worst.
Ever since, blood, something that Lilith has tried so hard to keep off of her hands finds it's way to coat it until the warm flesh was invisible to the eye.
Lilith is vulnerable.
The battle to maintain sanity lifts into a level that her fingers are now struggling to reach. But during what she thinks isn't bad enough a fact is divulged to her that might end up being not only the reason to her abnormalities but maybe her sinister ways as well. . .
